It will be a while before I make it. I have been having some hard knee pain and not doing a lot of big crafts at the moment.
I am not having a good time at the moment.
I am watching what everyone is doing though.

I would love to show you a picture but I don't know how to post them. For the adult pillows I always embellish them with a cross or heart that I sew on alone or over a yoyo etc. I don't add any to the kids because of the possibility of them choking if they chew them off. I buy the stuffing in 10lb boxes at Walmart, about $20. I do this as a way of giving back. I was at the chemo center needing to be hydrated after my first chemo treatment, a few days later, and had to wait hours for a bed to open up to do it. I was sick, tired and saw a pillow that a church made to give to anyone needing it. I debated taking it because I had one at home. However, I was so sick and it was over an hour home at 7pm that I took it. Therefore, my way to pass it forward. May I say that I also make beaded crosses, angels, bookmarkers and our church makes lap quilts,chemo hats, baby hats and booties that I distribute all over to chemo units and NICU. I really don't want to say this because I don't want anyone to think I am boasting. I am not. I give everything in the churches name. If I can take an adverse situation and with God's help turn it into good then anyone can. God has given me a wonderful ministry out of the depths of my adversity. So my lovely Sisters in Christ, be ever diligent in seeking to do something for others. It doesn't have to be big, small is good. If anyone wants to email me their address I will send you something small that I made to show you an example.
Also ladies if you didn't get your MAMMOGRAM, please get it. The earlier a detection, the less treatment! I had to have it all and I don't want any of you to have to do that. No insurance? You can get it free as well as treatment. Don't delay. I only urge you out of love. Take care of the GIRLS!

Judy...please sign me up and thanks for personally contacting me. I was a bit slow in
responding because I was in a Huge Fibromyalgia Flare at the time. But I think an MJF
Day Of Prayer is Awesome.
By the way Darlene (Healing Touch) made me a little beaded Angel when my little Sister
died of Cancer a year ago July. It meant the World to me! And that little Angel is hanging
in my Kitchen and I think of my sis Debby and of Darlene...every time I look at it. That
was such a warm and thoughtful thing and has brought me comfort...but I did NOT realize that God
had turned Darlene's own Battle with Breast Cancer into such a huge Ministry. Beauty from
Ashes...that is what God is All About! And Darlene is famous for her generosities even before
her own battle began. Thanks My Friend and Sister In Christ!

I can only imagine how happy God is to see every name that is added to this saying they will commit to pray on the Special Day of Prayer. I am so happy to see so many farmsisters getting together in God's name. As I sit reading these
posts, my heart is full of love for the hope that this brings. I am so thankful to be able to pray
freely without fear. We certainly are blessed. I am blessed in so many ways.
For the day of prayer I am going to begin a list of what and who I will be praying for. This will
help me focus. I have a terrible memory and I don't want to miss anything or anyone. I keep
a little prayer notebook in my pocketbook so that through the day I can jot prayers down and
this helps me focus, and I also feel that God sees the writing as well so He knows even if I
forget something in prayer, He's got me covered.

So thankful for all of you! I just learned through www.bread.org that October 20, 2013
will be a day of prayer for the hungry. On Bread for the World Sunday (10-20-13) it is
encouraged that we pray to fight against hunger. I thought some of you would like to
check this out and maybe do something in your area. The site offers resources too.
