T goat cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut 6 thick–cut bacon slices in half and set aside.
  2. Slice open 12 dried prunes, but do not cut all the way in half; pit.
  3. Fill each prune with ½ t of goat cheese or make the Soft Cheese from my Glamour Camping (April–May 2009) issue, wrap with bacon, and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet, then flip and continue cooking for another 5°10 minutes.
