Oilcloth Tablecloth on Roll

Oilcloth Tablecloth

What you’ll need:

· Cotton Fabric

· Plywood (the size of your fabric)

· Thumbtacks

· Linseed Oil

· Paint Brush

· Basic Sewing Supplies


  1. Lay fabric, right side up, on plywood. Use tacks along fabric edges to hold fabric taut.
  2. Brush on linseed oil with thin, even, strokes. Let dry. (Note: Linseed oil is combustible; closely follow all cleanup precautions and directions provided on product container.)
  3. Brush on 4–6 additional layers, letting cloth dry thoroughly between coats.
  4. Remove from board, trim edges, and hem as desired.
